For Immediate Release Yorba Linda, CA - March 1, 2002 - Stevens Group, Inc., the leading
Microsoft Business Solutions Partner focusing on the construction
industry, confirmed today that they are holding a seminar on March
5, 2002 to showcase the latest software designed for the construction
industry. "The most valuable thing about this software is that it provided me the flexibility and controls I looked all over for but never found," said Bert Petty, President of R. G. Petty of San Diego. "Managing Change Orders and other controls made me aware of what was falling through the cracks. Now I can grow my business." With fully integrated, web-based project, expense and employee utilization tracking, along with extensive analysis and proactive management tools, Solomon IV allows contractors to manage billable employees and subcontractors to full capacity to better track projects' overall expenses and profitability. "We have over 20 years experience in the construction industry and have worked with many contractors," Ed Pauley, Sr., CEO of Stevens Group, Inc. said. "There is nothing as complete as this system." In addition to the Solomon IV product, owned and developed by Microsoft Business Solutions, Stevens Group, Inc. has invested heavily in the development of advanced features that enhance the out-of-the-box offerings. "There is no one in this industry that can provide the features that we provide along with the strong out-of-the-box product of Solomon IV," said Ed Pauley, Jr., President of Stevens Group, Inc. "Some may provide portions but no one has the complete, fully-integrated system." When asked about the enhancements to the product, Ed Pauley, Sr. said that the firm's experience in the construction industry helped them understand what contractors really needed and what Stevens Group, Inc. could do to bridge the gap between what they needed and what was already in Solomon IV. "We have a full development staff and just decided to make the investment," said Pauley, Sr. "Any contractor who partners with us is ahead of the game because of the investment we have already made so they don't have to sacrifice and do without a feature that is truly valuable to them should they choose another vendor or partner." Among the enhancements developed to work with the Solomon IV Project and Service Suite of modules are Master Bill A.I.A, Prime Contractor Pay Management, Estimated Change Order (ECO) just to name a few. "We also have over 30 reports like Job Commitment, Cost and
Commitment, Schedule of Values Reports," said Pauley, Jr. "Not
to mention six different retention reports." |
